Also looking for love will be Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and retired defensive tackle Warren Sapp.
Gronkowski's New England Patriots play in the same division as the New York Jets, who are based in New Jersey.
Also, the Pats lost to the Jersey-based New York Giants in the Super Bowl.
It's a good bet that Gronkowski will be a more desirable bachelor than two other reality-show veterans — Rob Kardashian, who is less known than his many sisters; and Taylor Hicks, a former American Idol winner.
The show is a takeoff on ABC's The Bachelor and The Voice, NBC's hit reality singing competition.
If you don't want to know the results of the "competition," so to speak, read no further.
